Who are Thanos' Black Order?

Just who are the Black Order?  Thanos' Generals and motley crew of henchmen that have appeared in the last few Avengers: Infinity Wars trailers look menacing if nothing else, though they have not featured heavily in the comic books (in comparison they have only been around as long as Thor: The Dark World and Iron Man 3) but so far they have been memorable.

By now you should have already seen the last trailer for Avengers: Infinity War and seen Loki standing with the Black Order, and maybe some of you (and me) had not recognized these characters or known much about them, but being as ever helpful as i am, i have collated what i have learned together for you, though some stories may not be relevant i have focused on the info that could have been used as a template for Infinity Wars. Enjoy...

Outriders

Powers and Abilities

Tactile telepathy
Invisibility
Density Control
Flight
Physical Disruption

First Appearance
Free Comic Book Day Vol 2013 Infinity
(May, 2013)

Overview
The Outriders are a race of genetically engineered  creatures with the purpose of serving a master until there deaths.

Thanos uses his army of Outriders to locate planets he can invade. Upon finding a new world, an Outrider would at first gather Intel before reporting this information to Corvus Glaive (General and child of Thanos), who then arrives at the planet with Thanos and the Black Order demanding a tribute of a warrior before their world is destroyed.

Clearly the Outriders are Thanos' army in Infinity War, see the GIF above, and though Thanos has the Chitauri (featured in Avengers: Assemble and in the Gamora flashback in the trailer) Thanos appears to favor the Outriders, maybe due to Chitauri defeat to the Avengers under Loki's command, and with the ability to think for themselves the Outriders are definitely more formidable.

First Appearance

From the trailers it looks like Maw will take on Doctor Strange similarly to how this was done in the Comic books, though as there has been no mention of Thane we can guess that Maw is torturing Strange for the Time Stone stored in the Eye of Agamotto, the blades that he uses on Strange appear to be the same as those used by Kaecilius in the Doctor Strange movie.  whether Maw leaves Strange under his control remains to be seen.

Who could Nicolas Cage Play In An MCU Movie?

In an interview with JoBlo Original Ghostrider Nic Cage was asked which Comic Book Roles he would be interested to play check out the full interview here

"I mean, I think my comic book days are kind of...I'm on to other things, but I always thought I'd make a great Joker and I always thought that I would've been a good villain in one of the Marvel [movies] like Doctor Doom. But, Doctor Doom you have to wear that mask, but I thought the story leading up to Doctor Doom could've been interesting. At this point if I was to go back into the format it would probably have to be as a villain"

This got us thinking, what villains could Nic Cage play? It would have to be a villain with screen presence, as powerful as Dormammu and the exact opposite of Zemo's calm and collected? Who could this be?  Here are a few ideas we were throwing around.....

_________________________________________________________________________

Annihilus

Location:
Planet of Arthros, Negative Zone

Powers
Superhumanly strong
Superhumanly durable.
He can survive in space.
Spawns clones of himself that retain his memories if he dies.
He has wings and can fly at 150 mph.

Annihilus was first encountered when Reed Richards of the Fantastic Four discovered how to travel to the Negative Zone from Earth.

Annihilus plans have been beaten on several occasions by the Fantastic Four who have stopped him from invading Earth from the Negative Zone

In the Annihilation story line, Annihilus figures out a way to leave the Negative zone to our universe sending a fleet of ships called the annihilation wave through that would enslave or destroy countless world, Annihilus was stopped by cosmic heroes like Star-Lord, Drax and The Silver Surfer.

The introduction could be easy with Richards, one of the Governments most brilliant scientists has been drafted in to create a more permanent safe prison following the breakout at the end of Civil War.  Richards designs a state of the art prison and locates it in the Negative Zone a dimension he found by accident.  Following the prisons creation they are put at odds with Annihilus, who want them out of the Negative Zone, following an attack on the prison by Annihilus the four are accidentally given superhuman abilities by The Cosmic Control Rod

This would have to be a motion capture role of Cage as it would be sightly hard to suit up as a giant insect plus we get many behind the scenes clips of cage performing mo cap like Benedict Cumberbatch.....priceless

Come on, Nic Cage as Mister Mxyzptlk could be exactly the strange and manic character that Cage can bring to life with his signature style.  plus with how dark and depressing the Superman movies have been this could be turnaround we need.
